Solitude
By Danielle Jackson
Solitude, my sweet solitude. You’re so cold, dark, and hollow to be with. I feel love and hate at the same time when I am with you.
Being alone nowhere with anywhere, and nobody with no one but myself with an orgy of sorrow and loneliness.
Solitude my love we’ve been together for so many years and there are other years to come. It’s been so long that we have created an emotional bond together.
We laughed together; we shed some tears, but always stick together like a needle piercing the skin.
With us together, no body could stop us there will be no failure with our relationship. We share compassion, and the intimacy with each other.
The closed up box that you have given me with my name on to shut me away from family, friends, and society itself.
Others warn me about you, and what damage you could to me physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
They always tell me to stay away from your and that you are dangerous, but I don’t want to.
Whenever I am cold, you keep me warm, whenever I am alone; you keep me company whenever I am in grief; you keep me in comfort
Whenever someone tries to harm me; you are my armor, and strength with the small love that I need the most from others.
When I didn’t fit in, you took me in with care and pity me. When tormented by others in the past, you held my in your arms and told me that everything is going to be alright.
Until this day family and friends tell me that you’re unhealthy and that would keep me from the positive things.
They say that you would keep me miserable and began self mutilation to myself again or end up committing suicide. But I don’t care I am addicted to you and devoted and that is how it’s going to be.
You have always kept me from trouble, from the animosity that was around me all the time, and the negative situations.
Why don’t the see the good side of you instead of the bad. No matter what, I will always stay with you forever my dear solitude I will join you in death if I have to.
I will eat, sleep, bathe, and breathe with you. Day in night you would be inside me as I be inside you. To my love solitude and together we shall be.
